More than 30 pro-Palestinian Harvard students participated in a 12-hour hunger strike Friday in solidarity with students at Brown University pressuring the Brown Corporation to divest from Israel.@mnamponsah and @AzusaLippit report.https://t.co/SePl9AvkHI
Taking 15 seconds to post something on a website is not what most expect from someone who is unhinged. Going on a hunger strike takes much more effort. Not eating = unhinged. Posting an opinion on a website = normal behavior.
I ate an early dinner yesterday and didn't have time for breakfast until I had my mid-morning break today. So accidently I also support Palestine or whatever.
The comments under the article are pretty funny. I am sure most are not regular Crimson readers, but this article does read like a parody. I am more embarrassed for the Crimson for reporting this as if it were some grand event than the actual protestors who decided the act was futile. But the fact that they gave up the second the president denied their demands kind of defeats the purpose of a hunger strike.
I respect their personal views, but they are in need of a little more constitution.
