Take his money
Take his money
Is that supposed to make him feel better after he finishes 4th?

1000 bucks for you my friend.
Scott Fauble has said previously that he has been in sub-2:08 shape many times. His PR is around 2:10. Fauble run 2:07 or just shut up. We are tired of you.
Could have given that $1,000 to help some kids with cancer and a teenage girl would have matched your donation, making it $2,000 for cancer kids. But you didn't. Shame on you.
I hate to say it but I agree with this poster. I’m all about having some cockiness and bravado, like Jakob or something, but Fauble just sounds snooty and arrogant. With not much to back it up. As if he’s already made teams and/or run 2:06 or whatever. Galen, if he wanted to, could talk like that (but he doesn’t of course). Comments like “I won’t have to “run the race of my life” to make this team” on Citius podcast (I think that’s where I heard it). I’ll eat a large slice of humble pie if he crushes this race, but I just don’t know.
I think rojo is pretty safe on this one. But if he loses, it's still good publicity for the sport and the website. Hardcore running fans love seeing rojo get clowned.
Ain't no one going to run under 2:08:10
2 guys went sub 2:08:10 during the entire window. I don't see why 3 would suddenly do it tomorrow in sub optimal conditions and no pacers.
He should bet $100,000 against $10,000 Fauble would give Rojo. . CLOSE TO the IMPOSSIBLE. maybe 3 sub 2;11'10
maybe 3 sub 2'11'10
He's a right fatty
In Gault's interview with him, Fauble honestly sounds like he's going to retire this year. I don't think he has the fire anymore.
Doubtful. Aren't people still waiting for their cheapass Tshirts? I bet Scott would have to beat that allowance money out of rojo.
Thread is useless without the pic of Fauble looking down at Rupp sitting at the starting line. Someone please post it.
I'll reveal my real name if three finish under 2:08.10.
Lackluster.
That's what the men's field is.
No one in this race would be within a mile of the WR if they were running in Berlin, Rotterdam, London, Chicago, etc.
I never dreamed I would wake up this am and find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with sally vix.
how about a grand if first place is under 2:08:10. thad be more like it.
