Looks decent for the marathon trials. Lows in the high 50s, high around 75. Obviously not ideal for a marathon, but could be lot hotter in Orlando.
10am start time probably mid 60s.

Just like Paris!
The competitors gotta be breathing sighs of relief.
Humidity is the issue, not just the temperatures. The "feel like" temperatures with humidity, sun and heat radiating off pavement under the noon-day sun impacts the body a lot more than the temperatures.

Dew point.

Kobbsie sweetie we are breathing sighs of relief that you have such sustained focused manliness that you take a youngsters’s name (!) as your own (!) and simply reverse two letters (!)
Worried for a minute you’d lose your manly touch and switch screenames!
It's early for much detail. Currently a slightly elevated chance of above average temps. So pretty much close to normal, which is not great for race conditions, but could be worse.
That map can be misleading - it does not indicate actual temps, or degrees above average, but simply the likelihood temps are above average. And it's also a range of several days, because it's tough to be more precise so far out.

Actually the ambient ground level temperature will matter a lot. Remember the official temps by the weather surface are recorded in the shade. If the sun is out 70-75 will feel great but will be difficult because the ground level ambient temp will be much higher. .
Yes, conditions won't be optimal Feb 3. But looking like it won't be worst case. Temps will be mid 80s in Orlando this coming weekend. We'll get a team ready for Paris summer temps.
How to tell you're a road runner...
When you start looking at the weather 2 weeks before your race.

Well, 10 days. But yeah. And with grains of salt so far out.
Current dewpoint forecast is 56-57 F. Comfortable.
Someone help a midwesterner as we wouldn't put any stock in a forecast this far out. Is FL weather consistent and predictable enough that you can assume it to be at least somewhat accurate?

Fair question. Normally, I don't put much faith in longer term forecasts, particularly when it comes to rain or snow. But with temperatures there is a slight case to be made. Everyone will stay on this one and see how things develop.
Lived in Orlando for 11 years.... the temperatures might vary a bit, but not much this far out. As far as February running weather goes, it's about as good as it gets especially since it should be cloudy.
Should be way better conditions than the 2016 Trials in LA

Do you think Mantz will do well while training in crazy cold in Colorado?

Right. Where Galen won. Then he got the bronze in hot Rio. He seems to do better in hotter conditions. He wasn't great in the cold of Houston last weekend.

I don't think finishing a marathoning in 73-degree weather is comfortable no matter what the humidity is.
But yeah Paris will be even hotter so this might choose a better team for Paris than a cooler race would.
