Was wondering how to know what shoe’s best for you.
I’ve switched around a bit but have mainly worn Brooks Ghosts for as long as I’ve been running and have had continuous injuries.
First in the Ghosts I had foot issues (I think from overuse) and was given custom orthotics and stability shoes by a podiatrist and it gave me shin splints and ITBS.
I switched back to my neutral Brooks Ghosts after and was fine for a bit. Then randomly I decided to try out more minimal shoes, like Saucony Kinvaras and NB fuel cells, for fun and got a stress fracture.
So I went back to Ghosts and now my shins are killing me again. I was told I’m wearing the wrong shoes and it’s causing all my lower leg muscles to do the work and thus shin splints.
How do I find the right shoes???? Nothing works!!
