Rheinhardt Harrison NOT in the portal

I once was in a portal pot answering Nature’s call when it started shaking like there was an earthquake. Just some mischievous clowns trying to shake me up.

Harrison's primary goal at his new school is to enter and compete in a college running race.

Whenever I read about someone being "in the portal" I envision someone clad in a hermetically sealed suit and helmet, preparing for some sort of intergalatic travel or time machine.

not even close to accurate. you are just making stuff up (behind the veil of anonymity) because you don't know why he didn't race xc. You will see him in track wearing a Duck singlet.

In what sense has he "favorited" them? He redshirted Birnbaum even though he was one of the team's top xc runners at Dellinger. He let Burns burn a xc season for nothing. Harrison needs to compete but he did run something like 3:38 last June.

I heard from a semi-reliable source that Reinhardt and someone else involved whether it be a coach or athlete, were having some big issues in the past year and there was a moment where either he was almost removed from the team or removed himself.

Not here to spread misinfo so take this with a grain of salt for sure, but this adds to him potentially hopping on the portal

They tried two years ago, but Washington extended their contracts.

The photo you link is similar to the one posted of Emily Infield on another thread. Makes me think "Bun Huggers" are dead and now "Crack Crawlers" will be all the rage!

Powell has been in charge of UW for years and they didn't even make the meet this year. Can you imagine being in charge of all the scholarships at a Pac-12 school and being unable to make it to NCAAs in xc? That's hard to do after about 3 years.

Yeah, what a failure. The fact he had all those 3:51 or below guys is irrelevant, right? Someone should fire him immediately.

Oregon not great with free thinkers…Washington no big step up for a FL kid he will suffer dreary weather either way though W might be less inclined to overtrain than UO

Firstly, I don't believe that he is leaving Oregon.

Second, if he did, I wouldn't expect him to go to another university. I'd see him leaving school for a more elite/pro environment. People might say he doesn't have the times to be a pro, but he has the talent and ambition. He will eventually be a pro, so why not now? Running for Jerry is a good fit right now, but Harrison might be looking for a better fit.

I mean he could join HOKA NAZ Elite or something but I think his options are limited.
