Curious what the consensus is on this. Currently, I have a pair of Vaporfly 2s that I've used sparingly for the past ~2 years (less than 100 miles) and am considering getting another pair to have fresher racers, then using the "old" pair for workouts. Part of me feels this is stupid since I'd be dropping another $200+ on shoes just to mostly put them on ice like I did the previous pair but I have really enjoyed taking the older pair out for workouts and not feeling like I have to save them for races. So I ask: how many pairs of super shoes do you have in your rotation? Do you have multiple pairs of the same shoe? Do you like to mix and max different brands?
