I am trying figure out how Israel is an apartheid state. Is it possible that the my defintion of apartheid is misguided?
Arab Israelis (Palestinian citizens of Israel) are free to vote, stand for election, sit in the Israeli Government, serve in the military, work in the police force, etc. Gaza and West Bank Palestinians are not Israeli and don't live in Israel.
Recently, an Arab party was part of an Israeli ruling coalition.
My guess is that the apartheid claims come from a disputed terroritory.
In Area C, which is controlled by Israel, there is a situation that could be compared to apartheid because it is two populations living under different sets of laws for each. But that is not part of Israel, it’s territory under dispute.

That’s crazy. Really sad to see everyone in America live on land taken from American Indians by pioneers. Thousands of native Americans were slaughtered and kids killed in religious boarding schools. But it ain’t my problem! And the Middle East sure ain’t my problem to get fed up about! Not rooting for Islamic terrorists that’s for sure.

USA send a lot of aid to Israel including tax dollars. Israel formation broke international law when formed this century,l. The American pioneers did not, they were um pioneering. Jamie pull up the clip of the Israeli vet bragging about murdering hundreds of Palestinians upon his arrival by himself.
There are more Americans than you think that would like to live simpler like in the pagan and animist days of indigenous people before Abrahamic missionaries and capitalistic technocracies.

Yeah, sure, I guess there are imbeciles out there that think "Dances With Wolves" was a documentary. But the number of Americans who would honestly choose to live "like the Indians" - 70% infant mortality before 12 months... freezing and/or starving through the winter... "not knowing disease" because as soon as one of them got sick, they died... spending your days covered with animal grease and flies... etc, etc - is very low.

Where'd you get that number from?
From an encyclopedia, 30+ years ago... before publishing stats like that was deemed "insensitive".

It’s just an evil-sounding word that fits nicely in a short Instagram or TikTok reel (see also: “settler colonialism”). Most people don’t think for themselves, they just hop on whatever bandwagon their social media feed is pushing them.
