Do these workouts indicate enough aerobic fitness to possible go sub-4 in the imperial mile (1609m) or even a sub-4 equivalent in the 1500m?
The workouts below were run in the same week.
12km in 39:08 (Marathon Pace, 2.7mmol recorded afterwards)
10x1km @ 3:05avg w/ 60s rest (Threshold Pace, lactate range 2.3-3.7mmol)
16x400m @ 68avg w/ 30s rest (5km Pace est., no lactate recorded)
Now for workouts that were run in the past also during the same week:
6x300m @ 42avg w/ 2min rest (800m Pace est.)
20x200m @ 31avg w/ 30sec rest (Mile Pace est.)
4x150 @ 18.2avg w/ 3min rest (400pace effort)
Again I ask do the workouts I've provided indicate sub-4 fitness? Or do I have more workout to do?
