I'm sure a version of this happens often. Yesterday, I was running down the neighborhood trail doing my weekly 4mi tempo when this very young attractive woman passes me. Yes, I am old, slow, and fat now, but even so, getting passed on my tempo days is rare, and by a hottie is rarer still. I had no issue with it at all, but right after she passes, she falls in right ahead of me (no more than 10-15 yards) and starts running the exact same pace as me. Of course, I'm ok with patiently waiting to see how this plays out, but after a quarter-mile or so, it's getting a little ridiculous. If we keep doing the same, I will definitely look creeper-ish (though if we're in any other location, I'd be fine with it). If I speed up to pass her back (which would not be easy for me), I look like an old misogynist that can't handle being passed by a woman. If I drop back, then I'm hating myself for changing my workout for a stupid reason. What would you do?
