I'm looking for something with accurate HR, Cadence monitoring, etc., that's Android compatible and has GPS. When I check Amazon, I'm seeing a lot of brands, and really inexpensive ones, but imagine most of them are crap.
Garmin Forerunner 45 has everything you need. Some people like Coros, but I've never used it. I don't know of any other brand currently in production that's trustworthy at the lower end.
Thanks. Yeah, I was reviewing the Coros Pace 2 and it sounds really good at a reasonable price ($200). Maybe someone has tried both and can chime in (pun intended). I'll see how it stacks up to the Forerunner 45 on paper.
Reasonable price at < $200. Super long battery charge life. It's one of their lower end running watches, but still has a ton of features and is multifunction, bike, pool swim, cardio, etc. and can add other functions (widgets). Durable too.

Garmin 55 is probably closer to Coros than the 45 ....
