Judging from the photo's of previous editions people get shoes completely coberd in mud so there's a section completly off trail, yet all the top runners are seen wearing vaporfly's, asics metaspeed sky (?) and I also saw some adidas carbon shoes in the mix. What is that all about? Because road racing shoes and mud don't mix!
I know there exist carbon plated trail shoes out there that would be perfect for this, but I don't want to spend money on new expensive shoes right now.
What are your opinions on carbon insoles like vktry? Do they make you run faster like a carbon shoe does or no?
All I have to choose from right now to race in are nike zoom fly 3's or my adidas terrex speed flow 205. I can't decide though. For one I don't like carbon shkes in mud and on long roads I'd rather have them... Any suggestions?
