I'm sure all comments about Baltimore will be positive as I've read many things about it here. It might be the second greatest city in America - only second to Edmonton.
Are you referring to Corbin Carroll, the soon to be National League Rookie of the Year who has a significantly higher batting average and OPS plus 40 more steals and 30 less strikeouts?

Ronald Acuna (THE MVP) is the most exciting player in baseball this year
Braves leading baseball in many categories and setting franchise records
strider could be the only 20 game winner this year
admittedly pitching is in a slump
hoping it’s a Braves-O’s World Series
the first round bye might not be a good thing.
Here’s to hoping the Phillies thump the braves again this year. Braves have a scary lineup, but so do the Phillies if they continue to be hot. A home series might give the Phils some momentum.
Gunnar Henderson is the more valuable player period.
Only because the flawed defensive metrics rate Corbin as a poor defender, which is laughable considering his exceptional range and his ability to play all three outfield positions. I’d take Corbin over Gunnar on my team any day.
Corbin will still win it tho because he's got the flashy stats
They play in different leagues. Gunnar will be Rookie of the Year for the American League. Corbin will win it for the National League. Both are deserving winners.

How did this team win 100 games? I looked at their stats and it doesn't look like they have exceptional hitting or pitching. Nobody hit 30 home runs or is batting .300. Their starting pitching has an ERA in the high 4s except for Bradish. The individual stats look completely unremarkable so how did a team like this win 100 games?

Rodriguez went 7.xx era before break and 2.85 after being reinstated.

Very true. The highest OPS on their team is .818. That is nothing to write home about and everyone else is lower than that.

Their run differential isn’t that great either. They’re at +131. Compare that to the Braves (+230), Dodgers (+205), Rays (+189), and Rangers (+161). Their expected number of wins based on their run differential is only 93, which is very good but not great. They’ve outperformed their expected number of wins by a lot, which suggests they have an extraordinary record in close games.

Got my wish in this one. Castellanos playing like a god. Braves fan above may have been right about the first round bye. Acuna couldn’t come through with bases loaded. If it were Harp, he’d have hit a homer.
