The Sinister would deserve a pat on the back if we hadn't had shoes like the new balance rc5000, rc1600, the adizero rocket, the streak lt, the streak, the brooks t series, and a few others. Instead of innovating on these designs, saucony did -... something. To be fair saucony's fastwitch and type a were some of the worst flats on the market when they competed against all the other flats. The Sinister is a flat not designed with the human foot in mind. You can run in it, but its too tight (should study human feet saucony) if you have 5 toes, has less pop than the streak lt, and less give/cushioning than shoes with continental or goodyear rubber in the forefoot instead of whatever foam rubber compound was used. What even is the use case for this shoe - 5k races for those who can't get streak lt's on ebay? I assume since the market has moved on from flats, design of this shoe was designed to someone fresh out of college so as not to spend too much on r&d.
Are there any other racing flats in the pipeline? Anything going to be out in say the next half year?
