Only have about 30 miles on these shoes, mostly tempo/interval pace. The foam in the interior part of the heel on one shoe seems to have lost its structure…I can easily cave it in just pushing on the bottom of the shoe lightly with my finger. Rubber is completely intact.
Anybody else experienced this before? I weigh about 180 lbs…was tempo/interval work on varied terrain too taxing for this shoe.
I had this happen with a pair of FuelCell RC Elite V2s, though not until after a couple hundred miles or so (slowest "supershoe" I've even owned by the way, marshmallow soft with very little rebound). One shoe developed a visible dimple in the bottom of the midsole, seemed like an air bubble or something in the foam had collapsed.
Same issue with my pair. Foam has collapsed. Feels like my foot hits the pavement now.
