I'll go first, for boys - teams I am rooting for

Austin Vandegrift TX boys - auto qualify to nxn

Jesuit La LA boys - Win runninglane this year and prove all the haters wrong

Belen Jesuit FL boys - to break up the top 2 teams American Fork / Heriman at NXN for 2nd

Carmel boys - to rep midwest and place top 7 at NXN

Rocky Mountain boys - Hope they can win Bob Firman

for girls - teams I am rooting for

Jserra girls - 1st in cali region

Air Academy girls - hope they win nxn

Wayzata girls - place top 10 at nxn

Saratoga girls - rep new york well

Jesuit OR girls - place top 5 at nxn

Boys:
American Fork - finally win their first NXN title (they already have 3 second place finishes at least). They almost beat Herriman at Timpanogos, and that is with one of their scorers running JV. They are losing 5 of their top 6 after this year so they most likely won’t even qualify next year.

I hope no California teams place top 10 at NXN so that we can make fun of them. It will definitely hurt their pride.

I don't think this has ever happened before... considering most years they have 3 teams in top 10

2) I really hate the Boston Bruins

I have good feelings about all other hockey teams

Rooting for Riverton to get top 3 at NXR and get an at-large to NXN if they get third

Also rooting for Calvert Hall College MD to make NXN. They made a great showing at the Adidas challenge more than a week ago

Also rooting for the Fayetteville Manlius girls team to make NXN this year. They weren’t all that far behind Bethlehem last time they raced, and there is plenty of season left, so plenty of time for improvement

FM only has 9 girls on the roster and it will be awesome to see a team this small make NXN

Hopefully the Dowling Catholic boys team autoqualifies for NXN. They could have made it last year but their 5th man lost a shoe mid-race and they didn’t have a 6th or 7th to back him up

It's going to happen this year. Ventura and Great Oak are just not very fast compared to the competition from other regions. You heard it here first.
