The vast majority of these types of books are ghost written. I assume this is the same.
Here's the Introduction for the book, by the way.
So is this why she hasn't raced much in 2023 (before she announced her injury)? So she would work on a book?

Well, yeah. If a book is written by a celebrity, he/she probably got a professional writer to help pen their story. It's still the celebrity's story, but they hire professional help to tell it. Otherwise, the book would likely be an unreadable mess. You should be grateful for this.
Sydney is so beautiful.
The most gorgeous female athlete in all sport.
Drop dead gorgeous.
I'm not buying the book, though.
Who?
Oh, didn't she used to be a track star who's coach doesn't believe in racing?
the only book to feature the word 'God' more will have to be the Bible itself.
This will not be a compelling read.

Agree. Total religious book that no one will buy.
If she’s going to announce a book deal, she might want to or God might want her to spell “surprise” right.
My estimation of her has gone up significantly. Regardless, she's going to clean everyone's clock in Paris.
Sydney looks like the most tortured athlete in track and field. She truly looks miserable, and you get the feeling she hates every minute of competing.
I can't wait to get her book. Can you pre-order it?

It will sell plenty in an Olympic year.
I am impressed by your foreknowledge of the entirety of its content, though! The book isn't for sale until Jan. 30, 2024.
She claims in the preview shared above that she became a Christian between 2016 and 2022. Was she not a Christian when she attended Union Catholic? Is she Catholic now? Are Catholics Christians?
Guess again, wrongster wrote:

Ok you are probably right. Let me change my stance. No one will actually read the whole thing.

I’m Christian but people who try to use their Christianity to make themselves shine brighter rather than God and others always give me pause.
