1. Where is the altitude in Baltimore?
2. How good are under armour spikes?
3. Why base it out of that sh!thole of a city?
Are any of the Under Amour running shoes decent?
Pretty sure they're doing this just to trigger the LRC trolls.
It's a sponsored content piece on Outside, which means it a corporate PR piece. Funny that it didn't mention a single athlete who's part of the group. That was all about selling UA shoes, nothing more nothing less.
That is not an article. That is just sponsored content.
Didn't UA have District Track Club in DC?
No one wants UA anything.
On cue 🤡
Hasn’t this group existed for over a year now?
Didn't Morgan go UA then ON? Okay then.
1) Ask the teams in Seattle, Portland, and Eugene the same question.
2) Probably comparable to the pool of other non-Nike shoe companies.
3) See the part concerning access to UA corporate headquarters.
This project's mission statement is designing and developing the ultimate running apparel for use in urban environments.
To better understand the requirements of urban America, Under Armour is sponsoring a team of distance runners at their headquarters in Baltimore, MD. They are in the capable hands of coach Cory Leslie who's charged with building this team into a distance running force to be reckoned with.
During the first phase of the project efforts will be devoted to the research, development and testing of products that improve runner safety. The fusion of unconventional fabrics and materials, some of which are rarely seen in running, combined with 'out of the box'-thinking, has already provided some great ideas and prototypes.
Here's an early pre-production model:
Why isn't esteemed LRC member rojo coaching this group???
If you live in Baltimore, you'll either run fast or get dead.
I hope they've developed a light form of kevlar that's still as protective
Baltimore isn't that bad.
I read that article twice and still don't know which is actually on the team.
Their shoes ended Rob Brandt
Don’t they already have a team based out of Baltimore? The one Lauren Ryan runs for?
I'm not completely sure, but I believe she's in the ua mission run one (located in Baltimore). the other one, dark sky elite, is in flagstaff
