In my opinion, given his dominance of Cross country, 5k and 10k, and many medals, as well as just missing being the record holder for 5k 10k and marathon at once, he is the GOAT. Feel free to give your opinions.
Unlike Farah (who had two whereabouts irregularities in 2010/11 (one more and he would have been banned), he has never been under any suspicion apart from the natural questions asked when someone wins often and by a great distance.

IMO right now he is absolutely the GOAT. In the future of course it could change but no question for me.

Any suggestions of where his last race would be? And what distance would be most fun to watch him do?
IF he were still in his prime I would love to see him win World Cross Country again. He cannot do it of course. If he were in his prime I would love to see him defeat Jakob at 5000m. Of course those days are gone so I am not interested in seeing him race again. He was the best.

But his 2:01:41 marathon is suspicious.
That wasn't a smooth run though. It's not like he ran even splits flanked by a wing of pacers and ran through the line like a robot. He had a bad patch where he was dropped, if I remember correctly, and then came back. But then couldn't pick up the speed enough at the end to break the WR. He said after "I am so unlucky." Did Lance Armstrong ever say "I am so unlucky"?

Watch him obliterate everyone in his last race and break the world record. It's going to be literally orgasmic
I can't say how thrilled I would be if he did this. My money is not on this happening, but it would be the best closing statement in the history of running careers.

I agree I would be pumped, but who is in wr shape and decides it'll be their last race? He's probably in 2:05 shape at best

This would be my first thought too. But Haile G. revolutionised distance running before Kenny, and broke records by far greater margins. So that's something to consider in the GOAT conversation.
I like Haile immensely, a real gentleman and a pioneer. I think him and Kenenisa are better than anyone subsequent due to their combination of records and medals. Cheptegei maybe could contend if he has a mighty next few years and success in marathon.
