Going through all the tributes from many famous Brits, like Alan Shearer (soccer star), etc .
Let's just get on the race please BBC, too much bla, bla.
The usual stuff interviewing people in disguise running for charities and there's nothing wrong with that but this is a running event and by the way if you look at a marathon in Japan or China there's none of this nonsense.
My apologies my timing is off the race only starts for the elite men at 11:00 a.m. British time so I'm going to switch off now and get back to you later I don't need to watch all this pre-race talk. Charities, clowns, supporting health issues, etc..fine, but I came to watch elite.
Steve Cram and Paula Radcliffe still both look superbly fit. Cram still contract by Nike, Paula as well(?).
Tola, Edris, - Cram says Edris is favorite. Paula says Edris and Bashir training together. Bashir training for Chicago.
Jepchirchir women's favourite.
Charlotte Purdue went out with Sharon Lokedi and Jepchirchi but allowing for a gap now.
OK, she's gone missing. Just Peres and Sharon now.
They found her (Charlotte). Running on her own. She flails about a bit, even at the beginning.
Men about to start now ... Farah looks very relaxed and joking and next to him Edris, looks tense and unsmiling.
Tola has a similar height and physique to Kejelcha, Bashir Abdi, Ben Daoud, Edris,
I'm predicting Tola for win.....Edris, seems to be less effective on the road.
Edris and Kamworor should put a few minutes into Farah here. Hopefully organisers haven't told them to let Farah win.

Is Kamworor entered? Sorry I missed that.... If Geoffrey is really in the race he should be right up there challenging for the win, with Tola, Edris.

Kamworor is not competing.
Hoping Charlotte can pull off a good time. She’s had a rough few years with injury.
She’s got Berlin then too so will be interesting to see how she can perform today.
Peres on her own for a long time now. This thing's almost over. Mostly wheelchair and crowd coverage.
Lead pack of 3 dropping Mo.
Tola and Abdi clear and away. Reminder that Tola ran a 1:56 38k in Budapest before DNFing 2 weeks ago.

Abdi also DNFed (after 3,000m) in Brussels the other day as well after going for 10,000m European Record.
