Vacationing this week in New York State and Portland Maine. Just logged an easy 60. Going to try to get back in the swing of things in September and kick off a new plan in October focusing on 800/1500.

It's been months since I've checked. Good to see a few folks posting through the summer!
I guess I'm now officially an ex-runner after 52 years of training and racing. : (
After so long defining myself as a "runner," it's a strange adjustment. For a few years I had been limited to three days a week due to knee issues, but now my back is just too painful.
Finally scheduled my long-delayed bicycle "family history tour" a couple weeks ago, in the Corning NY and Tioga PA area, checking out farm and homestead locations and cemeteries. The bike tour was gonna include Ithaca NY area, too, but I decided to drive around the first day and bike only Day 2.
My almost-36-year-old son has been running. I think he had a 20-miler planned this weekend. Yay!
Run well!
