I thought that too until I saw it was only a 4k. that's literally a warmup for their Top 5.
But yes, I suspect none will run.
there was a story naming Haas, Collins, and someone as I recall but the site seems messed up now. Results of this (Elon Invitational per the schedule) and all meets should show up here
I wonder how many of their top sticks Henes puts out there tonight?
Somewhere between zero and none of the potential T7 will run at Elon this evening. Absolutely no reason for them to even make the trip over to Burlington.

Looking forward to seeing the entire top 7 run together. There’s been a lot of speculation about who the 6 & 7 runners will be. Hartman is always in that conversation but I’m going to go out on a limb here and say she is going to be a top 5 and possibly a top 4. She will have a solid year.

Hartman beating out one of Bush or Tyynismaa for the 4th spot?? That would make an incredible top 5. I think Hartman will be good, but not quite on the level of Bush or Tyynismaa this year. I wouldn't be surprised if she finished around 35-45 at nationals though.

This year maybe not but I would not be surprised if she did. She’s a huge talent and very underestimated.

This is Bush’s last year, right?
A couple interesting results in 2 early meets. In Stanford's opener (which comes before their off-site camp and late academic start), frosh Sofia Kennedy ran up front w/ Riley Stewart, and vet Grace Connelly just behind. The stars did not run. If folks stay healthy and Stewart, Kennedy, Connelly are 4,5 and 6 that's a good sign for the Cardinal.
At CU Covert, xfer Dishon, frosh Baloga and xfer Doucette came in T1 w/ Valenti & Cook being the chase pack. This shows Cook is healthy, but not yet fit. Valenti may be a nice surprise and both Baloga and Doucette can make year 1 impact. Stars Hertenstien, Baran and frosh Riggs didn't run.
The 'unattached' runners is normal Wetmore. Rather than waste a year of eligibility, he'll wait til Nuttycombe or even pac to decide whose eligibility to burn.

the fact that Cook even ran is a really good sign. it's her first race since indoors (back when she was still at OKSt) she has the rest of the season to get her fitness up. if she stays healthy she could be right there with Tuohy and Valby at Nationals.

Riggs did not run, but she is at Stanford, not Colorado! If healthy she, Dudek, Bunnage, Jenks should be top 4 (but likely not in that order). Starliper and Nechanicky (and Minnuity) are at Colorado but did not run. Presumably either very healthy or not yet ready to run a race. From what Wetmore said he may know who his top 4-5 are right now.

Looks to me like Cook has a long way to go still. Winning time for the 5.3k course was 18.53, with Cover, frosh Baloga up there. Cook ran 19.17, 10 seconds back from Valenti. She was only the 6th CU runner in (and 11th overall), despite the whole CU team not running. Doesn’t look like she’s on the traveling team this year unless she improves dramatically over the next 8 weeks or so.
