I've currently got just over 100kms on Alphafly 1s and did a half marathon in them over the weekend. I have a marathon in 2 months and am following the Hanson's training plan which has you do a marathon tempo paced run every Thursday of between 13 and 16kms. I have been using the Alphas for this mara pace run and was just wondering if there will be any performance decrease between now and the marathon. I expect that by the time of the marathon I will have done over 200kms easily in them.
Should I get fresh Alphas for the marathon or is the Zoom X foam likely to hold up just as well for the race with the same performance?
