Man, Katir looked strong. And Jakob looked like death; pale, listless. But he somehow gutted it out for a win. Impressive as hell. I feel fortunate to be able to watch.
Nah, he barely talked about anything other than how terrible he's (still) feeling after the race. Said he could barely enjoy winning it right now, on account of feeling sh*t.
i doubted he was truly sick for the 1500m final but after watching that 5k, he is either an incredible faker or legit feeling off. i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. amazing win.
Thank You Jakob for not pulling out of the race because of less than 100% health and striving for excellence. Also, you helped my LRC prediction contest score from not being a complete embarrassment.

Congrats Jakob!
Katir, as usual, was happy with his 2nd place. At least he made a proper effort to win today.
Also, it was the 2 1,500m men who turned on the afterburners in the last lap.

I am not a Jakob hater but the dude is sick maybe like how a light cold is. He will be fine and there is no need to mention him feeling a bit under the weather, it feels like an excuse and also as a safeguard in cause he gets 2nd, 3rd, or 8th. He’s not sick bad enough where he is restless with sweats and a fever, and limping to the bathroom like in a flu.
All credit to him, show’s character after that crushing 1500m defeat. More intrigued by the whole Gjert / kids / Nordás situation. After being part of a huge family reality show how much had this affected that dynamic? Success at what cost I wonder.
