"Kiplimo is preparing for the World Half Marathon Championships," the informant said, adding, "If he participates in the double (5,000m and 10,000m), he cannot compete in the Half Marathon."
It's not a big surprise as he only did the 10,000 last year as well at Worlds (but won the 5 and 10 at CWGs) but this certainly helps Jakob. He's one of the guys you might expect to try to hammer it. No team tactics with Cheptegei either.
