Am switching from Coros to garmin and got a 245, but one of the buttons, the left bottom one, weight registers a click but does nothing if pressed lightly but does scroll down as expected if I press harder so as to hit a deeper click underneath the surface level click, which is pretty annoying. I also tried a 745 but it was worse with both the up and down navigation buttons like that. A friend who’s a longtime garmin user said he has that too and just lives with it.
How can the most well known brand for sports watches not get button design right? Do you have this problem too or am I just getting bad pieces on Amazon? My Coros had a dial that was easy to turn or press and worked beautifully, but I hate their reliability and lack of any support after warranty, so I’m trying to like garmin now.
