At physiology today for treating hamstring tendonitis, and he has me doing this aggressive stretch - called the ATG split squat (knees over toes guy stuff). He keeps telling me to keep pushing my knee further over my toes and then I feel a "pop" or "snapping" sensation in my upper thigh below the pelvis. I immediately stopped said a felt a snapping or popping. He had he doing some small stretches to check for pain - it wasn't a sudden or severe pain, and I can lift my leg up without pain (a few hours after).
My physiology downplayed it saying sometimes things can pop (eg tendons gliding over bone), and to see how it feels running tomorrow. I'm really freaked out I did something bad............any thoughts?
