You gotta wonder if not joining a real training group squandered some potential?
He has shown flashes of brilliance, hopefully he can get back on track.
But Reebok pulled the funding on their group a year ago? Had to wear reebok shoes, the training locations never made sense, and he had no one to train with.
Justyn is partially to blame, has gone dark on social media and has no interest in contributing to the sport or his fans.
He had an Achilles injury, slowly building back hoping to go for next Olympics. One of those most talented runners in the world and he actually did it clean.
But as for the poster complaining about social media--he doesn't owe you anything. You are grouped into the litany of toxicity on social media: never has beens, gossipers, no achievements, entitled, validation seeker. Again, he doesn't owe you anything. Know your role and shut your mouth, you jabroni.

He is a professional runner.
He owes the sport, his sponsors, and the fans updates on his status. That is part of being a professional.

Understandable if that’s the case, but the timeline is starting to get long for that to make sense on its own. Too long for complete radio silence, zero radar hits. two seasons? he’s signed up as a brand ambassador, and pops up on social media liking others content.
Not serving any bans or whereabouts failures or it would show up somewhere, right?

You are making stuff up. He had a good place to train and good training partners, contributing to top 10 or better at worlds and Olympics and very fast times among the best ever for North Americans. You have to come with more info, or choose topics people don’t actually know about so that your claims won’t be detected as false.

Steve, I'm really impressed. You actually posted something that positively contributed to the discussion and is completely agreeable. Usually you just yell that the Africans are doping. Good on you mate

I think that is more a testament to his insane talent.
If you aren't training at altitude I think as a world class 5k runner your places aren't great.
