Are you really judging U.S. athletes a week after their national championship? Many of them had to do multiple rounds and then fly across the world. Plus the emotional draining aspect of a national championship.

Poor little babies can't handle flights and emotions.
Not many US athletes were in DL meets before the nat champs either.

Looking forward to you trying to claim that a couple medals and 2/3 of them making the finals is a "bloodbath".
I predict the US will definitely have fewer medals (in distance events 800+) than:
- Kenya
- Uganda
- Ethiopia
And also most likely fewer medals:
- New Zealand
- UK
- France
- Spain
Of course we will have less distance medals than Kenya and Ethiopia and likely Uganda. New Zealand? No f*cking way. UK? Doubtful. France? No f*cking way. Spain? Tie at worst.

In the end, the US is not even in the top 10 of this championship for distance/middle distance events (men and women).
