This country is moving every day toward increasing levels of insanity.

Can't wait for the usual crowd to lecture us all how this is completely normal behavior, and we're all just stuffy bigots for not being receptive to the idea of men breastfeeding.

Amen, and look in the mirror, bro.
The number of people this guidance applies to is basically zero. And those it does apply to are overwhelmingly good parents...
Stop pretending negligible fringe issues are a notable concern. Hillbillies with meth babies are probably outpacing any harmed kids with TG parents 100-1.
This is a mental illness.
.I find it unbelievable that the CDC - the organization responsible for public health - has slid into the abyss of woke science deniers.
actually it sounds a little rapey for a biological man to milk his chesticles into a newborn that he did not give birth to. more than a little rapey.
We are not a serious country
Come on bro, just follow the science.
Why is this topic on a running website?
If COVID didn’t teach you everything you need to know about the CDC then by all means believe this tax dollar funded trash.
“Bro” the “fringe issue” is nourishing a newborn.
Yes, this is the right thing to do. It is guidance issued to doctors so they can treat their patients better, and doctors really should be more professional than screaming, "eww, that's icky you mentally ill freak" like the unqualified posters here are doing. If the evidence suggests it is nutritionally equivalent to female breast milk (both males and females have breast tissue and can lactate under certain circumstances) then the medical community has no reason to oppose it.

"Under certain circumstances" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. Yes, if you give a man a cocktail of multiple random drugs (including anti-psychotics) that the mother of a newborn would never be encouraged to use whilst breastfeeding, he can produce a tiny amount of milky galactorrheal discharge. Forcing a hungry baby to drink this discharge is at best a purely tokenistic ploy for attention- it can't sustain an infant because there's not enough of it; and the nutritional value/side effects for the newborn are in no way well established. However, given the extremely high volume of autogynephiles in the transgender community, and the first hand accounts of 'chestfeeding' men who brazenly admitted they were 'turned on' by the act, most rational people would conclude that men who compel a baby to suck on their nipples are committing sexual abuse.

The CDC is spending taxpayer money to promote the concept of “chestfeeding”, which is the practice of men producing ‘milk’ to nurse their babies with the help of certain drugs.
On the CDC’s own webpage titled, “Health Equity Considerations,” you’ll find a section called “Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies Toolkit.” Under the “pronoun use” section you’ll find the section that states:
Transgender and nonbinary-gendered individuals may give birth and breastfeed or feed at the chest (chestfeed).
Always the usual suspects

Have you no common sense, sir?
Have you zero ability to spot total BS when it is right in front of you?
I can’t believe the CDC is forcing all men to do this!
