Would this obese population get in better shape if we all had to go around naked? What about the scrawny runners? Would they gain some muscle? Or would everyone be about the same?

Guessing most people would eat a little extra for the winter and definitely stop shaving anything.

Awesome topic. Here is my theory, people convey so much about their status through what they wear.
If you had to be naked and wanted to be taken seriously, your only way to do this being fit and/or having big organs.
Imagine a guy like Chris Christie walking around naked, expecting some level of respect. People would just laugh. Then you’d have a laborer that’s jacked suddenly having more social rank than the slobs that want respect.
Of course, this would be most hilarious in terms of Trump.
Who remembers the Ren and Stimpy where Ren had all the fat from his legs injected into his pecs and the ladies went wild?
There’s a reason Adam and Eve covered up after taking a bite of the forbidden fruit. Shame on them for ruining all the good times in the Garden of Eden.
Probably not. I doubt nudists and nude beaches are or have more attractive people than average.
too many fat people are already wearing spandex, short, tight clothing, letting it all hang out. They clearly don't mind and wouldn't change a thing
Yes. People can't really see their own hair/beard, but they groom them anyway to be presentable to others. Same with wearing clothes: it's for other people's judgment. If others could see their rolls of flab, fat-induced micropenis and sweat rashes then most people would take action against that as well.
yes, people would stay in better shape
athletes would also be better due to the fact much of how we move is copying others
when you can see more of someone you can potentially learn how to move better yourself

What about all these fortysomething women with saggy breasts, bellies & buttocks? 😬
Guys with large penis size wouldn't want anything to do with them. Lol.
So, these undesirable women would have to go for the guys with smaller penises or they get nothing at all. 😆

It won't matter to me. I am proud of all this jelly.
Have you been to the beach lately? Fat people could care less to let their jelly hang out.
Call me a cynic, but I don't think there's any saving 70%+ of the population. Not quickly at least. It's cultural mediocrity - with 'mediocrity' fast becoming uselessness. We live in an egocentric & somewhat vain world, where people are spending billions on cosmetics, clothing, accessories, cars, holidays, houses etc, all to project a certain image, when the greatest impact - by far - would be gained by being thin, let alone in notably good shape. If they can't get thin with that motivation, I don't see it changing because their shame is slightly more easy to see.
And that's before you even consider how good it feels being in good health, and what you could do with the extra decades of 'health span' that it affords you. People barely into middle age are hobbling around, frequently visiting the doctor, on all these pills, and still can't get it together. Not to mention the added motivation of decades more of looking good.
The other day, my parents were showing me their holiday photos. They'd met a newly married couple in their 70s who started each day with a beach run. When I saw a photo of the 78 year old man - not knowing his age - my first impression was genuinely 'what a good looking bloke'. Looked like a film star. 78 years old. Thick head of hair, glow of good health, posture, muscle and bone mass of a much younger man. Works out multiple times per week, still works (for fun), travels round the world. His 72 year old wife looked much the same - cross country skier, regular gym goer. Both genuinely still physically attractive decades past their prime.

I got a pretty good sized banana but never had much luck with the ladies. I usually don’t lead with that though. Have I been doing it all wrong? Should I just get to the point and tell them I have a huge penis right away?
I think it would be great in general - clothes hide so much about a person's body. Sometimes you think someone looks stunning with clothes on but there's something about them that would put you off when they're naked. And vice versa, you could be really attracted to someone who doesn't catch your attention with clothes on

They usually have mostly flabby nasty folks who don't gaf about their appearance. Population would be in worse shape.

It would be a terrible time to have eyes.
It'd be about the same but we'd be under the control of a totalitarian government who controls what we wear (or don't) and would have to look at hideous naked bodies everywhere.
Doesn't sound fun.
