Retro R&B Pegasus shoe buying music with Joan Benoit Samuelson
had to finally switch from the Pegasus this year after using so many models bc they just no longer worked for my feet but this commercial makes me want to switch back anyway! great stuff
Great commercial. Who is the store owner? Looks like Mu buying shoes.
I read a case study on Apple and Nike's marketing strategy and they are not actually selling the product, but primarily a lifestyle and attitude. In this add, nothing is actually said about the benefit of the shoes. As far as the store, I assume that it is imaginary and created by an ad executive.
I believe it's Coach Bennett- Nike Running Club Coach? he's definitely been on some podcasts I've listened to over the years
Your right it is Mu. It went by so fast and I just assumed it was Kenyan distance runner.
Nike is doing pegging now?
very true
Great ad.
Is coach Bennett a subliminal message for a past or present runner--Pre or Engels?

I'm no Nike fan, but they've had some great commercials over the years.

Joan has aged a lot over the past few years but it was great seeing her in this ad. Always a fan of her. No idea who the guy was in the ad but he was good.
Nike is anti small business so this is certainly made up. How many Chinese children did it take to make those pegs anyway?
Nike is trying to erase women, anyone with any self respect is BOYCOTTING Nike because of their partnership with that Dylan Mulvaney mentally ill MAN in a sports bra.
Finally…great job Nike!!
a Nike commercial that makes sense…
Thankfully no 300lb women in yoga pants
Bud light should have taken notes.
Now do a NOP ad!
Is the owner, Jeff Johnson? That would be cool if it is - he was Nike’s first employee…lives in NH near Joanie in ME…coached with the Nike Farm Team in the late 90’s…
FYI, Stanford has always had most of their top runners turn pro with Nike…Bowerman TC is not the first group…Grant Fisher is just the latest…look back to the Patti Sue Plummer days…
