On the juice or untapped potential from new coach change? From changing teams because he was getting dropped by Fisher to winning a 10K effortless and walking around after.

I don’t think Sean has WCS… Which would put Grant in!! Anyways, BTC L lol Woody wins & Teare fails to advance.

But Cranny CRUSHED and Thompson kicked hard to qualify as well. I guess you can choose to look at the positive or negative…

I think he changed teams because he was tired of being second fiddle to Grant. The workouts were better suited for Grant and so on. But let’s not act like Woody beating Grant is a brand new phenomenon in a slow race. He did it in 2021. The whole BTC staff believes he would’ve done it last year if not for a cramping issue. He certainly has seemed rejuvenated by the change.

What is up with Grant getting dunked in the final 400s?
This is the 7:28 3K-12:46 5K-26:33 10K triple threat. HOW THE HECK CAN HE NOT WIN A SINGLE USA 10K championships? Also, why is the pace always so dang slow. 28:23 was the winning time. Of course, I understand the need to conserve energy for the 5000 in a couple days, and Grant already having the standard indicates that he could've gotten 8th and still gone. But, Why leave it to 400 knowing Woody is known for his kick. Start strong with 65s-66s 400m and watch Grant drop everyone. Woody can not go sub 55 in a 27:00-27:10 race. He dropped 55.96 to his 27:06 10K when the pace was about 27:15 the lap before.
Agreed! Bad tactics knowing Woody's kick. But that's looking from a spectators view, maybe Grant was more confident in his own kick and less in Woody's? He learned today!

I'm betting both.
