........man in the NFL.
Never been a time when a hurdler was the fastest NFLer.
Give Tyreek Hill a few weeks and he'd beat Allen at any distance.

Oregon has had some footballer/tracksers
Jerry Tarr was the top ranked hurdler in the world, ran leadoff on their world record 4x1 team. AFL Denver Bronco, a bust.
On that 4x1 with Tarr was hurdler/long jumper Mel Renfro, he was a running back at Oregon, as we know Hall of Fame cornerback with the Cowboys. 13,7/25-11/9,6
Latin Berry a 26 foot long jumper, JJ Birden a 25-7 cat. Amos Marsh a 9,5 sprinter,
He is faster than all NFL players.
But being only on the practice team doesn't make him an "NFL player"

Richmond Flowers?
The minute he signed a contract he became an NFL player, how he is used has nothing to do with that.
I can't see him beating Hll if Hill takes this seriously. Hill was a legit sprinter once upon a time.
What an interesting story Richmond Flowers. Cat on the cover of SI, even had a movie about his life. Nobody sold "fast white boy" better than Richmond Flowers,
But........he was never the fastest NFLer with his 9.4 PR.
Renaldo Nehemiah - hurdler also fastest in the NFL
-3 seasons with the 49rs
-World record holder, first person under 13 in the 110 highs
Nehemiah was never the fastest NFLer, he does however hold a weird Maryland 100m record at 10.17windy.
Funny thing about this was the Niners wanted to have him run a 40, cat cooked a 4.1 hand timed.
That Penn Relays where he kept running everyone down must have been a sight.
There were a lot of NFLers who were former tracksers like Olympians Gerald Tinker, Larry Burton both 9.3 cats. Phil Epps and Mike Miller ran 10.16 and 10.11 not that well known. Miller beat Darrel Green in the NCAA.
Everybody knows about Cliff Branch a 9,2 cat but how about Mel Gray also at 9,2.
Isacc Curtis, Travis Williams, JD Hill all at 9.3.
Raiders had....Alvis Whitted 10,07, James Jett 10.16, James Trapp 10.14.
A lot of speed in the NFL at all times,

Tyreek Hill will be 30 in March and so his days as the fastest NFL player are coming to an end soon or are already over. There is track speed and there is football speed wearing pads. Sometimes the fastest is a guy on special teams who rarely sees the field otherwise.

How's that and be specific.
