Our intern is in the stadium and says there is a large down pour going on. How will that impact performances?

Heavy stuff just passed through, but they will still see some intermittent showers through the event I reckon. Go Koko in the 5k ✌️😎
I don't see Gidey on the start list for 5,000, wasn't she supposed to run? If the weather is bad makes sense that she scratched to chase the WR under better conditions. I don't see a DL 5,000 for Women next until London on July 23rd
Koko will hopefully not go all-in as German champs are next week.
U.S., British, German, National Champs next week, Jamaica last week, so not especially deep fields here today, but a great opportunity for 'locals' to shine.

A bit windy too, tough for local hero Mondo.
Slower sprint times with the cooler conditions and generally lower-caliber field than other DL meets.
Pretty decent for distance races though
WHO SCHEDULED A DL EVENT ON A RAINY DAY??? SEB COE OUT!!!!!! 😡😡😡
They ran the non-DL mens 3000 earlier:
apologies for format. That's how it copies and pastes off the WA DL site;

Anyone else having trouble watching the NBC stream?
Allman, you need to be able to handle rain in the outdoor season...
Poor Valarie. Traveled all the way to Sweden just to get supersoaked with no results.
You sent the intern to Europe?

I’m pretty excited to see the women’s 1500 coming up shortly and how Muir/Welteji/Hailu/Haylom/Meshesha shake out.
Full stadium even in the rain? Americans can't relate. 🥴
Apparently sight and sound about to go out because of weather...Hopefully will be back soon thereafter
They’re about to cut out due to rain? God bless it.

Actually maybe not because Chris Derrick said they're back, but they actually never left so hopefully it'll be fine

God's blessing worked! We're back!
