As some of you may be aware, TomTom is removing all support (including their website) for their GPS watches at the end of September (2023). I have owned a TT for many years now, and loved the simplicity of it. One button controls everything! One of my favourite things has been setting a lap of 2.11 kms (on the watch - no software required), and then going out for a half marathon (10 laps). Over the years, I've also found the TT to be very accurate with regard to distance. Anyway, enough of my love affair!
I recently bought a Polar Pacer Pro as a replacement, but I just don't like it (many reasons), so now I'm leaning towards a Garmin. Regardless, any replacement will need to support a chest transmitter (wrist-based HR isn't accurate enough for me). I'm an old guy (65), so I would appreciate something that's easy to operate, preferably where I can do all (or most) of the adjustments on the actual watch.
I look forward to your recommendations :-)
