I realise that my shoe requirement might straddle two rather different distances! Basically I am a 50 year old jogger, with almost no experience on a track. I have tried a 400 m once before and a mile a few times. The plan is to get under five minutes and under 60 seconds with the help of some spikes. But which ones would work for both distances (and also, would I wear these for training sessions on the track or just for flat out efforts? I’ve never trained on a track before so bit new to this !! ). oh, I’m also about 225lbs - not sure if that makes any difference to the shoe choice??
