13:03.12 they said winning by about a second 57 last lap or so. He said he arrived feeling bad in Paris and then had the flu, but obviously hes past it now

i havent seen the splits but it looked like he actually backed off the last 3 laps or so. Maybe a little heat in his legs from a few days ago. Is he ready for USA’s?

Yeah looked like they dropped off the lights slightly but then closed past them. Nice battle with Burundian Egide Ntakarutimana. Chelimo looking good but that 5000 team will be hard to make, looking forward to it. Emmanuel Bor was also in the race, not sure where he finished but he got dropped with a few laps to go along with Lobalu

After lackluster performances at Paris and Oslo I was thinking Chelimo's hopes of making a worlds team were in trouble, but if he wasn't healthy for those races and then turns around wins a 5k in 13:03 a few days later, he's definitely got a decent shot.
Chelimo's tic where he constantly wipes sweat from his brow drives me slightly insane. I can't watch the dude run anymore it just kills me for some weird OCD reason
It would be wild if Fisher doesn’t make the U.S. 5k team. With a gun to my head he’s my second pick after Kincaid, but with Klecker, Teare and Chelimo it’s not a foregone conclusion.

Can’t believe Mo Farah came 13th
Probably couldn’t get to the front to slow the race down. Was Butchart there holding his sweats for him?
