The 57:31 was back in 2021. If he is still in similar shape, then yes, statgangsta says he can run
marathon 118:58.10
Do these predictions break down at the extremes of distance? I find it hard to believe he could run a full minute under a 2 hour thon
Yes, they do tends to break down pretty hard at the edges. However, I have noticed that it is very, very accurate to neighboring distances or when you "sandwich" distances (entering a time for the 400 and mile, for example.) which is why I continue to use the website.
Jakob Kiplimo vs Jacob Ingebrigtsen over 8000m, who takes it - we need this matchup right now! (ok seriously though I would love to watch that)
Kiplimo right now.
I'm all in on Jakob right no in the 1500-5000. But Kiplimo's 12:41 is powerful and knowing his 26:33 10K was done with 13:27/13:06 splits. Ain't no way Jakob takes this.
Didn't ventolin once prove that some runner was in 25:50 shape?
Renato said Bekele could run that at his peak
That is the most clever and true thing Renato ever said. Bekele didn't even train massively hard for his WRs and wasn't even 100% healthy. He ran a 2:01 thon off training that would make anybody else on the planet struggle to break 2:10. He could of run faster. Imagine how fast Bekele would of run with wavelights, supershoes and whatever the latest drugs are. Elon Musk must be selling rocket fuel to the pharmaceutical industries to help fund spaceX

You made sense until you added the drug comments.
I lost interest at “could of”, and completely tuned out at “would of”

Do you understand that when people say "could've" and "would've," they're not saying "of?"
