Wrexham dominated both halves to defeat the US Women's team by a score of 12-0. #NBCSports #Wrexham #ussoccer » Subscribe to NBC Sports: https://www.youtube....
I actually follow soccer so I knew about this when I actually happened. First of all, Wrexham is on the rise and is not D-list - Ryan Reynolds owns them and is investing a lot in them. I don’t watch their Netflix show, but they’re legit.
Second, top-level soccer relies heavily on physical strength and explosiveness, which unfortunately most women don’t have. Watching women’s soccer is great though if you hate the falling down and pretending to be injured part that is so pervasive in the men’s side.
Just like you can probably appreciate both men and women’s ice skating for different reasons, I feel the same can be said for soccer.
Anyway, tl;dr — we all know men have great physical strength so what’s your point?
There are other videos of teenage boys destroying adult female national teams.
This is about making the case to keep trans women out of women's soccer. These games show that males and females are not playing the same game because of different bodies. The females are often standing around unable to make plays because the men are that much faster and stronger. The males avoid contact because otherwise they'd knock the women over.

In other shocking news, NBA teams beat WNBA teams in charity match!
Based on transgender athletes domination of women’s sports being by far the most important issue facing our nation, I’m try to figure out if any xx women made all-American at this year’s NCAA T&F. Is that why people were disappointed with KT’s 7th in the 1500? Was she the last XX athlete in women’s sports?
Does anyone know the final count on NCAA T&F individual championships won by trans athletes this year? Has to be pretty high since they’ve taken over right?
Austin Killips, 27, who identifies as transgender won in the women's category of a cycling tour in North Carolina this weekend some five minutes ahead of second place.
Wrexham is a full on professional men’s soccer team. They have several players who have spent time in the EPL or similar top tier leagues.
Like seriously dude are you mentally unhinged or are you just that committed to being a troll that you’re oblivious to how dumb you sound?
This isn't the current Wrexham AFC squad or anything that even closely resembles it. This tournament is basically a celebrity beer league with teams made up of former players with ties to a club/theme. Most of them are retired, guys who were a backup for a year or two and now playing in lower semi-pro leagues, and others who predate the Ryan Reynolds investment.
Similarly, its not the current US National team that they beat. Most of the players are long retired, and were fringe national team (or in some cases just youth national team) players to begin with.
I just watched that video. I did not recognize any of the girls playing except for Heather O'Reilly and she is 38. She last played for USA in 2016
I searched for some of the other names. It appears Lori Lawson played for USA at the 2008 Olympics and is now the head soccer coach at some University
Nikki Phillips last played active soccer in 2014
Stephanie McCaffrey last played active soccer in 2018
Clearly this is not the US women's national team but in this era of disinformation, fake news, doctored videos and so forth, this is no longer shocking.

Yeah, this story has been massively exaggerated.
All of us will acknowledge that, head-to-head, the US men's team would anialate the US womens team in a game. The idea that the women deserve as much, or, more than men is silly on several fronts (viewership, revenue generated, who is better etc), but it's ridiculous to use this tournament as an sort of measuring stick. This tournament was a glorified exhibition. That wasn't the current women's national team. And some of the men's players hadn't played professionally in over a decade.
