Yeah, she kind of ruined Dwight's narrative, I see why he as a former high jumper thinks that technique is all that matters, but in distance running: big engine > good technician.

Right? See all the new steeplechasers coming from East Africa. Some of them have atricious technique.
But if Ms. M. can improve her technique a bit, she's a top 3 threat.
He placed in the top two or three in New York state meets in track and cross country a few times. He had one obstacle during those years, the monster known as John Trautmann.
RM was a really fine runner and, as far as can tell, a fine runner dad to his talented daughter. And she is arguably even better as a runner, and she, her family, and her coach(es) have discovered a nice path for her in the Valby/Tuohy era. I’m also guessing she’s very smart and has a lot going for her even if she can’t really find world-class steeple form.
So if castigating her does something for you, I can’t stop you from doing it. But I doubt that will stop her from having an amazing life.
