maybe not Ritz but Jerry, no doubt
Raised in Fairfield CA.
though he doesn't represent America on the international stage, I'll always root for him just as much as I would root for any American. Ya Luis!!!!
I enjoyed hearing the British announcers say he was from Guam

I thought Guam tipped over ten years ago?
Reminder to never doubt The Mike Smith. He's just unstoppable. Haters said he only won 6/7 XC titles because he inherited a championship team at 7000ft, but now he's taking his prowess to the pro level just to show everyone he's the goat. Grijalva didn't really shock me because you can't fake your way to 4th at Worlds, but holy crap after watching that close again I wanna see him in some time trial races. Fisher is real lucky that the US refuses to give Grijalva citizenship, because if he's running that as his season opener, he's probably close to 12:46 shape already.

Not really his fault america wouldn't grant him the 'ship
Dudes a freakin beast man.
Based on this thread, I thought he had won... but neighhhhh he was 3rd.
Exhibit A on the Super shoes. Do you really think he is better than Ritz or Lagat? He was a decent dude running all=time American times.
Easy to root for, glad to see him perform here. 3rd in the best DL 5k and running 12:52 is something else
Genetically he's the most American runner there, having ancestry on this continent before the British colonised it.

Faster =/= better.
He’s better than Ritz was (on the track), but nowhere near Lagat.

4th in the world at 5,000m last year, Ritz never finished above 6th in a global championship. And he looks better than last year.
10sec PR... LOL...
