I just finished my college track career as 400/800 runner, and my main spike was the nike maxflys. I'm thinking about signing up for a couple mile races this summer to move up in distance, but I don't know if I want to buy new spikes for just a couple races. The only mile I've ever run was a time trial, and I wore a pair of hand me down distance spikes that aren't very comfortable. Could I run a mile in sprint spikes? Has anyone tried this? Let me know!
