Has anyone noticed similar?
I have always used Asics GT-2000's as I was once told I needed a supportive shoe, as I over pronated - this was right back when I started running 10 years ago. I think that advice was probably correct at the time, but as I've gotten stronger and from looking at wear patterns, I no longer think that's the case - so I tried to switch to Novablast 3's...
The shoes are really comfortable and over the past 5 weeks I will have put a good 250 miles on them with no injury problems... But I feel that my legs are excessively achy and just generally tired (flat feeling); could this be a symptom of the shoes not working for me in some way? The Novablast is highly cushioned, and moving back the GT2000 for one run, it feels rock hard in comparison - it seems counter intuitive in some ways, but could the extra cushioning actually be having an adverse impact on me?
Nothing else has changed training wise that helps me explain why I am feeling this way
