Nick Symmonds’ 5’10 165 translates to roughly 190 at 6’2.
Makhloufi (apologies on spelling) I’d also guess was in about that weight class.
Snell was also almost 180 at I believe 6’1-6’2
Coe on the other end was small, built more like a 15/5000 guy.
wasn't andrew wheating literally like 6'5
Coe weighed in at 119 pounds.
Probably, the two tallest 800m Olympic gold medalists, John Woodruff & Nils Schumann, neither sub-1:44 men. [Is it better to be a sub-1:44 800m guy or an Olympic gold medalist?]
Probably, the tallest 800m Olympic gold medalist with a sub-1:44 800m p.b., Paul Ereng.
A sasquatch could easily run a 1:30, and an ostrich could run even faster. Both are very tall and heavy.
Big heavy humans are strangely slow compared to every other known big, tall, 2-legged thing. DFL actually. Is there any slower giant?

Wasn't Seb still about 5'8? I am struggling to come up with a really short (call it 5'6 and under) 800m guy.
Alfred Kirwa Yego (1:42) was tiny.

Leo Manzano, although he is not a sub-1:44 guy.
On the taller end, Duane Solomon is 6-3.
Lightest is easy:
Laban Rotich
He was like 5’3 97 pounds

I too first thought of NS, who is neither heavy, short nor tall. But in some other category altogether which I cant define. Just looks nothing at all like a runner. Looks like the wrestlers from my high school warming up on the track. What a specimen though.
But yes, Andrew Wheating is like 7 feet?
Wheating 6’5 181
That Frenchman Ben Robert has got to be one of the heaviest.

Well there you go, although I dont recall if he was sub 1:44.

Can we agree no one over 6'3"-something as raced sub-1:44 800m.

Totally forgot he ran sub 1:44. But yeah he is probably the winner.he made all the 5'8 guys look like giants..
Uhh… David Rushida (6’3”)
