Huge upset today that not many saw coming, especially by such a margin! What happened today! Thoughts?

I feel better about my first Boston. If Kipchoge runs it again he will win because he will know the course.
That being said. I pay $$ to see Kipchoge run. N

1) 38 years old
2) underestimated the competition - all you need to do is just show up
3) underestimated the course- didn’t even review it
4) flat course without pacers
5) junk AF 2 shoes 😂
6) Boston weather
to be fair, Sage Canaday made a whole video predicting he would not win.
Maybe got spooked at the thought of being tested in the USA for the first time. Maybe came off the peds a little too early.

Lol he's won the Chicago marathon before.
He's probably just too old now and can't hack it on a REAL COURSE.
Cold, humid race conditions and Kipchoge loses again-just like London.
Coincidence?

He said on friday he did review it, the entire course in fact.
Amusing but not unexpected that the same people insisting that there was nothing unbelievable about him smashing his on world record, are now insisting only a few months later that it's to be expected that he can't break 2:09 at his age. LetsRun never disappoints.

Armstronglivs spiked Kipchoge’s drink cup with some Glycolax at the 30km mark.
For all those who scream "drugs" what happened today? Drugs didn't work? Losers.

Imagine if he tests positive after getting his clock cleaned in Boston. That would be the ultimate devastation.
When Kipchoge loses, and there are 5 or 7 runners ahead of him, it somewhat takes a bit away from the winner as in Shura Kitata and Evans Chebet can't quite claim the "Kipchoge slayer" title.

Today it's Eliud that wins this title.

He was arrogant
Does Kipchoge even make the Kenyan Olympic marathon team?
Maybe he should just move up to ultras now, while he still has a shot at beating Jaguar1...on a good day.
The question is which amongst the Kenyan competitors will test positive at some point. It's a given now.
assclown has to make a "Kipchoge goes home devasted" thread? The man has nothing to prove to you or anyone else. He doesn't have to run course records or 2 hours everytime he runs. He broke 2 hours! #micdrop
