Early reports out of Kenya from the most recent regional meet look very good. As opposed to last year when he looked unsure in his kick (and hamstring) in finishing Kenyan Champs (not trials) and got 7th, this year he ran second in a 5,000 heat and more importantly won an 800 heat in 1:45.0. Looks quite possible he’ll be back close to Jakobs level this year.
Back equates to back on the sauce, baby. Don't get caught like Asbel Kiprop and the others. Pretty easy to get away with it though. Just be diligent and smart about the process of cheating, the loopholes (such as missed test loophole or TUE loophole) and the capabilities or lack thereof of the doping authorities.
I get your point OP but it is interesting to note that TC has 6 straight years 2017-2022 where he has not run slower than 3:30.21 for his annual best time and he broke 3:30 every year from 2017-2021 so even though he hasn’t been in top form recently it still is not too shabby.
Yes for sure. TC was dominant for awhile. At 800m into the 1500m the field pretty much knew they were running for 2nd. Those days might be over but he could surely win another gold or two.
Not trying to be original. Just pointing out your hypocrisy. On that other thread you replied that after you felt insulted by another poster. Here you just insulted Tim by calling him a doper.
That shows a lack of integrity and intelligence on your part.

I faced a direct and vehemently inappropriate personal attack after speaking words of truth, which was completely unwarranted and spurred by ignorance and anger.
If you understand human physiology in correlation to athletic performance (I am also a runner with almost certainty in likelihood faster PRs than you) and also the entrails of PEDs and the PED testing system relevant to human biology and science, you would realize my statement is most likely true but difficult to be proven that way due to how easy it is to get away with PED use. In fact, this exact scenario of banter would have played out the same way if we were talking about Asbel Kiprop (instead of potato Timmy) before he got caught.

I hope posting that makes you feel better about yourself.

I’d like to see him stop deferring and start challenging Jakob. I think it might be on the horizon
If you mean, T Cheruiyot should lay off the early pace and with (450 to 150)m to go move up on J I's right shoulder, I agree. If you mean T Cheruiyot should waste his speed fighting for the lead the first 1000m of 1500m races, I 100% disagree with you.

Somewhere in between because on the circuit, it is only 600 meters to lead. Much as people think Jakob is good at grinding it down in races, Tim was actually as good or better at it from 2018-2020. Just look at those races and the high number of them for evidence in faster times and superior last 100 splits. In a championship race, yes if Jakob will lead let him have it.

2018 to 2020, J I was 17 to 19 years old. That era is gone. T C should never lead a 1500m race going forward with J I until 1350m.
