A guy with 10 global gold medals is always relevant. It doesn't mean he's still good, but all-time greats are always interesting. If Bolt said he was running a 100 next week, I'd still watch him drag his out of shape carcass down the track.
And while nobody thought Farah was going to trouble the top guys, I still thought he could run a solid time in the 2:07-2:08 range. That might have made him competitive for the British Olympic team. He ran 61:49 for the HM less a little over 6 months ago, dropping to 30:40 for the 10k in the interim is a pretty shocking decline

I agree. People still pay to hear Bob Dylan sing and he was past it decades ago.
Interesting place to go to run a 10k. Does anyone know if he has a connection with Gabon or has he been training there?
He's always had a keen interest in Francophone culture and literature. The result, almost 2 mins behind 5th place, looks grim in any language. The fee maybe less dispiriting.
