Has anybody worn the NB FuelCell Rebel v3 shoes? If so, what are your thoughts on them and are they good for everyday training?

Sockman has it as 8/10
That's as high as it can get.
The Rebel v2 is one of my favorite training shoes. Plush yet responsive. I'm sure the v3 kicks ass as well!
I have a pair of v3. I love the Rebel v2. The v3, not as much. It's still a good shoe, I think, but for some reason it hurts the top of one of my feet. So I found a few pairs of v2 on the internets. I will try the v3 again sometime; maybe tinker with the lacing.
My girlfriend and I both run in the V3's. She also complains about the top of her foot hurting, but it's never been an issue for me. They're actually one of my favorite running shoes of all time. Super lightweight and surprisingly cushioned.
I like them. Pretty 'bouncy' but that's the trend nowadays. Feels fast.
They were too soft for me without anything to leverage toe off. Plus I prefer more cushion in the forefoot. Just overall to flexible for my style. It is a very comfortable, lightweight shoe.

I suspected this was an issue with the Rebel. Soft cushioning without a stiffener of some type in the midsole is a no-go for me. Rigidity of the midsole helps make transitions more efficient and in my case it prevents potential foot pain at the MRP joints.
For these reasons, the FC Propel V4 looks like a better alternative to the Rebel.
