At what age should you no longer be living paycheck to paycheck? I know it varies some situation to situation, but what is your opinion on this? Would you judge someone negatively if they were past a certain age and still had little to no savings?
It doesn't matter when the SHOULD, it's more of a question if they EVER CAN.
Stagnant low wages and staggering housing costs are the main problem which is not going away anytime soon. And less Avocado toast eating will not change that.
I don't judge people. I stay in my lane and do my thing. Judging people is for those with low self esteem and a lot of self doubt. So I would never judge someone negatively if they have no savings. C'est la vie, my friend.
For regular people paying their own way or starting to, a good rainy day fund or some money to move to a better situation with some missing paychecks should be priority very early on .
There are hundreds of people in the world - maybe billions - that are just trying to survive one day at a time. And there is absolutely nothing they can do to change their situation.
The institution intends for some people to essentially live check to check for their whole lives. Their system of modern day slavery has a plethora of people working 40-60 hours per week and being broke at the end of every single week or month. Brutal. So as an individual, you must ask yourself, how do I escape this evil matrix of what's intended for me? You have to be willing to set yourself with high standards and think outside the box because a conventional thinker/subservient individual/someone who is lazy and talentless will certainly become trapped in the matrix. Only the smartest, the hardest working, the luckiest--you will likely have to work hard to get "lucky" as lazy people don't get lucky because they don't identify opportunity will escape the awful trap designed by the institution.
Like basically never. Should have the self awareness and personal responsibility to realize how to live your life inline with what you can afford.

Burkina Faso, South Sudan, Eretria, etc.. yeah your life is pretty well effed right off the bat.
As far as living in America, if you can't make a wage and find a way to save, sounds like a "you" problem.

If you are not a student you should not be living paycheck to paycheck.

SMH....almost have the country is only two or three checks from being broke.
So, I would say for most people, by early 30s you should at the very least have a 3 month emergency fund saved up, and if you don't, you're either kind of an idiot, or you're a loser. It should not be at all hard for a 30 year old to think about "What if I lost my job," nor should it be at all difficult for someone to be able to save up several thousand dollars by then. If you don't even have $5000 by age 32, for example, what the heck have you been doing the last 10 years?
