Jacobs looks awesome after a slow start but then comes up gimpy…
M & W 800 semis in the books. W 1500 Final as well as M & W 400 Finals coming up, all within next 35 minutes.
Boffey out and the M8 sf2 was pretty scrappy too, Kramer's arm action at the finish a bit suspect even if the guy next to him q'd anyway?
Yeah I think it was better than McCanns who got a yellow card. I’d let it go with both getting in. Boffey had a tough race tactically. No major surprises, Keely looks the class by a lot there. Men’s side wide open outside if maybe Robert as a slight favorite
Muir 10th at 400, 6th at 800, biding her time, fairly fast pace.
Hannah England says the word is she’s been sick.
Bobocea did all the work & held on for silver. Muir ftw.

Impressive race from the 30 year old Bobocea! Muir ran into trouble with 50m left, but she’d already done enough to win and she was sick, so great for her. Bobocea’s outdoor PR is 4:01.1 from last year - she could be poised to lower that further.
Muir goes home a champion again! Incredible race. Muir is the best tactician in women’s middle distance. Good for her - a win with a great time for this race!!
Yeah at 100% the gap expands with Muir. Impressed she was able to gut this one out and hold on the last 50.
Time for Warholm & Bol to shine.
Warholm out in 20.85! Holds on for gold.

I think you’re right about Robert being a slight favorite, and I think the medals will come from Robert/Ben/Crestan/Kramer.
The lesser medals for the women is a big question for me. Horvat has won both of her rounds but it hasn’t looked easy. Hoffman looked great closing down on Horvat today, but gave herself too much work by going out at the rear. Werro is a big talent at 18 years old; she was runner up at World Juniors last year in 1:59.53. I’ll predict Horvat runs 2nd for 700+ meters before Hoffman (2nd) and Werro (3rd) overtake her as she ties up.

Is that the fastest ever opening 200 in an indoor 400? Norman split 21.33 in his world record.
Werro has the best medal chance if the final is fast and orderly, she can run fast but she is rather inexperienced in tactical running (IIRC she undersold herself at last years Euros)
Warholm really tied up at the end, 5 meters more and he'd have lost the race!
Warholm cut that incredibly close, I thought he was going to tie up completely at one point.
Muir just doing what she does. Not a bad indoor season for her, 3 indoor tour wins and a European championship

Total insanity. Was that his plan? He could be under 45 if he’d pace it properly. Anyway, very entertaining run.
